High representative in Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) Valentin Inzko stated on Monday in VItez that BiH will get a EU candidate status in four or five years.

Inzko said it was time for BiH to catch up on the way to Europe. The people living here always felt like Europeans, even though they are not members of the EU family, and still do not have EU passports, but they will have them soon.

High representative in BiH opened European Movement office in Vitez.

Inzko said the decision on abolition of visa regime for BiH confirms EU’s intentions for that country’s citizens, and the country showed that reforms can succeed when political leaders focus on them.
