A list of Slovenians living in Kosovo is being drawn up to find out if any were victims of human organ trafficking in Kosovo, Prime Minister Borut Pahor said on Monday answering an MP's question.
Currently, about 400 Slovenians live in Kosovo, which is less than a quarter of the figure from 1999, Pahor said.
He noted that he had been informed by the Foreign Ministry that several Slovenians went missing but that none of their relatives asked for any consular help.
The list, which focuses on Slovenians who left Kosovo after 1999, is being drawn up since 2006, Pahor said. It has not been made public, because it is not finished yet, the prime minister explained.
Slovenia is closely monitoring developments in connection the much-talked-about report on trafficking in human organs in Kosovo by Council of Europe's human rights rapporteur Dick Marty, Pahor added.
