Bulgaria is looking into ways to support the international community in enforcing the UN Security Council Resolution on Libya.
The country will take a decision after the EU and Nato discussions are over, Bulgaria’s foreign minister Nikolay Mladenov announced. Gaddafi’s regime is not legitimate any more; it is unpredictable and irrational, not allowing of any negotiations, the minister said.
He added that everyone’s priorities are the end to violence in Libya and the enforcement of the UN Security Council Resolution 1973.
Mr Mladenov expects that the Security Council at the Council of Ministers will hold a sitting next week, which will take a stance on Bulgaria’s contribution to the humanitarian mission.
