Greece: State Budget deficit totals 15,571 million euros in January-July 2011 period

According to an announcement by the Finance ministry, the State Budget's total revenues fall short of the new target by 87 million euros, while the total expenditures decreased by 992 million euros.

The State Budget deficit reached 15,571 million euros over the January-July 2011 period, on a fiscal basis, according to temporary data concerning the implementation of the State Budget, compared to the new target of 16,475 million euros as was determined after the Medium-Term Fiscal Strategy Framework and a deficit of 12,449 million euros in the corresponding period in 2010.

According to an announcement by the Finance ministry, the State Budget's total revenues fall short of the new target by 87 million euros, while the total expenditures decreased by 992 million euros.
