Bulgarians  can suggest the participation of two medical squads and of a team for the embargo enforcement action, the Defense Minister Angelov has stated.

It would be a failure of the operation if Gaddafi remains in power, said Bulgarian Premier Boyko Borissov for the private 7TV.

Foreign Minister Nikolai Mladenov said on the other hand that Bulgaria’s contribution to the operation should be in the marine and humanitarian aspect. We are ready to intervene with the capabilities we have under the NATO-planned operation, Mladenov said.

“Bulgaria is far from taking part in the operation through own forces from the air. Our position takes into account our potential”, said in his turn Bulgarian Defense Minister Anyu Angelov.

We can suggest the participation of two medical squads and of a team for the embargo enforcement action, the Defense Minister further explained
