Only in March this year, Sarajevo was visited by 47,495 tourists, who are mostly using Euro as their means of payment.

But, merchants and public services in Bosnia no longer accept Euros, and everything must be paid in the local currency, the Convertible mark, BAM.
Since the holiday season is coming, a flood of tourists is expected. But, they can exchange their money only at banks, because in Sarajevo there are no money exchange offices.
Tourism workers say that they suffer huge money losses due to the lack of exchange offices.
