Gordon to visit Sarajevo, Belgrade, Pristina and Zagreb

U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Gordon will travel to Sarajevo, Belgrade, Pristina and Zagreb June 13-17, to underscore the support of the United States for all the countries of the Western Balkans as they build prosperous, peaceful, and democratic societies on their way toward their rightful places as full members of the European and Euro-Atlantic community.

U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip Gordon will travel to Sarajevo, Belgrade, Pristina and Zagreb June 13-17, to underscore the support of the United States for all the countries of the Western Balkans as they build prosperous, peaceful, and democratic societies on their way toward their rightful places as full members of the European and Euro-Atlantic community, the U.S. State Department released in a statement.

During his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina June 13-14, he will deliver a keynote address on U.S. policy in the Balkans at a conference organized by the Center for Transatlantic Relations at Johns Hopkins University SAIS and the America-Bosnia Foundation, and meet with government and political leaders.

On June 15-17, Gordon will visit Belgrade, Pristina and Zagreb, where he will meet with senior government officials and community leaders to discuss matters of mutual concern, the statement reads.
