The new government has two deputy prime ministers, Theodoros Pangalos and Evangelos Venizelos, with the latter also appointed as the new finance minister.Early next week, the parliament is expected to hold a confidence vote on the new government.
The new government has two deputy prime ministers, Theodoros Pangalos and Evangelos Venizelos, with the latter also appointed as the new finance minister.
Stauros Lamprinidis is the new foreign affairs minister, while Panos Beglitis will serve as the new defense minister.
Yiannis Ragousis moves to the ministry of the interior and the infrastructure, transport and networks ministry and is replaced by Haris Kastanidis as the new interior minister, while Dimitris Reppas will head the newly formed administrative reform ministry.
Yiorgos Koutromanis is the new labour and social insurance minister, and Yiorgos Papakonstantinou moves to the environment ministry.
Michalis Chrysochoidis and Anna Diamantopoulou retain their positions, as do Andreas Lovervos, Christos Papoutsis and Pavlos Yeroulanos.
