EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton will preside the meeting of foreign ministers of the EU and Western Balkan countries in Brussels Monday, at which Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic will also take part, Tanjug has learned.

As spokesperson of the EU high representative Maja Kocijancic told Tanjug, the meeting will be held in gymnich format, that is without state symbols, which will enable the attendance of Belgrade and Pristina at the same table.

Apart from Ashton, the meeting will be attended by EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele.

The meeting will be organized on the sidelines of the meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council, and the main focus will be the EU integration process of the region.
