Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor has opened the irrigation pilot-project in the village of Kapinci, near Slatina (eastern Croatia).

Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor has opened the irrigation pilot-project in the village of Kapinci, near Slatina (eastern Croatia).

The project involves 1,200 hectares of land worth 60 million kunas (8.1 million Euros).

In two years time, the area is expected to be covered by fertile fields irrigated from the nearby river, Drava.
