 The European Commission has approved funding for the first stage of the project for construction of a waste treatment plant in Sofia, the Town Hall said Friday.

 The European Commission has approved funding for the first stage of the project for construction of a waste treatment plant in Sofia, the Town Hall said Friday.

Worth 69 million euro, the first stage includes the construction of a composting plant, a facility for storage of non-hazardous household waste, reimbursement of expenses that have been made for purchase of land and construction of infrastructure.
