Carlsberg Bulgaria has introduced on the national market the new format of packaging for its Tuborg Premium lager, in a Pet bottle.

Thus, Bulgaria becomes the first Southeaster European country to experience Tuborg's new one-liter beer bottle

The new Tuborg Pet (polyethylene terephthalate) is said by its producers to be more sustainable comparing to glass due to reduction of carbon footprint, which Carlsberg deems an important step in its environmental policy.

Tuborg's new bottles for the Bulgarian market will be produced in the country's Shumen brewery which began local production of Tuborg in 2004.
