Germany's Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle will pay a working visit to Croatia on Wednesday as part of his southeast European tour, and confer with Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandrokovic in Dubrovnik.

The visit of the German foreign minister is a sign of close partnership between Croatia and Germany and it follows the successful closure of the pre-accession talks with the EU, which were backed by Germany from the very beginning, German Ambassador Bernd Fischer underlined in a statement.
According to the Croatian ministry of foreign affairs and European integration, after the meeting in the building of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, the ministers will visit the city's cultural and historical sites.
The German embassy in Zagreb stated that Westerwelle will also visit Montenegro and Kosovo as part of this tour.
