Indebted BH citizens with Swiss Franc loans are going to file a legal action to the Mostar Municipal Court on September 20th against Hypo bank in BH.

“Up until now we have written to Hypo bank, the Agency for Banking of the Federation of BH, the Market Inspection, the Institution of the Ombudsman in Mostar, and we are yet to receive a single response”, stated Kemal Duraković, one of the debtors.

He added that BH doesn't have a politician who is willing to resolve this issue, which is why they hired economic expert Marica Glibić from Mostara.

Duraković explained that the legal team is going to suggest that hypo Bank sings a legal contact with it's clients, in which the loans are going to be in Marks.

“If the bank doesn't accept our offer, the papers are going to be sent to court”, Glibic stated.

She adds that with the confirmation of these loans, there was no mention of Francs.

“Thesis were replace, all of this time there were talks about currency credits, but no one received currency credits”, Glibic said.

As a result of the growth of the Swiss Franc in BH has mostly affected citizens that have taken loans which were tied to a currency several years, with their monthly rate doubling.
