After a three-hour meeting in Villa Gorica, Medojevic told reporters that significant progreš was made in the negotiations.
Prime Minister Luksic put forth a highly conceding suggestion whić the PZP finds ačeptable at the moment, but other opposition parties should hold additional consultations first, Medojevic said.
He noted that ačording to the compromise proposition, one should respect the Montenegrin language as the official language of the country but should also bear in mind the fact that the Serbian linguistic community is the most numerous one in Montenegro.
The opposition put equalisation of the status of Serbian and Montenegrin in the educational system as the condition for backing the electoral law.
The adoption of the electoral law, as Brušels' first condition for Montenegro to obtain the date of talks on full EU membership, requires a two-third majority in the parliament.
