RTR Engineering is the regional center of the Renault Group, which is responsible for worldwide development of the Logan range, and in particular, adaptation vehicle projects and mechanics manufactured and sold on markets in Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean.
Renault Technologie Roumanie is a good example of commitment to a new industrial policy model based on innovation and research, said the European Commissioner for Industry and Entrepreneurship, Antonio Tajani, Vice President of the European Commission, who visited RTR engineering center in Bucharest, together with Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Anca Boagiu.
"This commitment in Romania is crucial, between the Romanian government, the French company and Romanian companies. My work is aimed at export development, exploring new markets - Russia, China, South America, India. Romania can be a good connection with South America and Africa markets. I am very interested in this model of industrial policy and I want to support it ", the European official told AGERPRES.
Antonio Tajani stressed that innovation and research are key points for the new EU strategy for the real economy.
"It is impossible to win the battle against crisis only with our commitment to public debt issue. Of course, this is a pillar, but the second pillar is also important, the real economy - growth and competitiveness. We could not have growth and jobs without innovation and research ", said Tajani.
