The left coalition harnessed 36.7 per cent of the voters’ support this month, a slight drop from September’s 37 per cent. In February it registered 42 per cent.
The governing coalition gets 23.4 per cent of the votes, down from 25 per cent in September and still further down from January's 27.9 per cent.
Analysts explain that the current Prime Minister and HDZ head Jadranka Kosor's sharpening of the rhetoric prior to the elections may not have been the best strategy, daily Vecernji List writes
