Public relations coordinator Slobodan Homen stated that the government adopted the Action plan for EU integration.
Homen announced that at the next session the government will examine in detail the report of the EC on Serbia’s progress in the process of European integration and its opinion on Serbia’s candidacy for the membership in the EU, and plan further steps in the process of European integration accordingly.
The problem raised by Hungary’s objections to certain provisions of the adopted Law on restitution and indemnification can be solved and the worst case scenario in which the Hungarian government will veto the EU’s decision to grant Serbia the candidate status in December will not come to fruition, he said.
The problems that can be solved must not be allowed to handicap Serbia on its EU path, he concluded.
