Croatian President Ivo Josipovic denied that he congratulated the Day of Republika Srpska (RS) to its president Milorad Dodik.

The office of Croatian president dismisses as false the claims that President Ivo Josipovic congratulated the 20th anniversary to RS. Official state messages on behalf of Croatia to countries marking their statehood day are sent only to sovereign states, it is stated in the release reported by the Croatian media Tuesday morning.

Croatia honors the Constitution of Bosnia-Herzegovina, and the structure determined by the Dayton Agreement. In accordance with that, the Croatian presidents wishes to cooperate with the representatives of all constitutive peoples and all citizens of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Josipovic's office released.

The Croatian media reported that Dodik stated for the Radio Television of RS that Josipovic congratulated the Day of RS to him.
