Romania: Sixty-eight people have died so far from hypothermia

The total number of people who died from hypothermia is 68, according to the data supplied by Secretary of State with the Ministry of Administration and the Interior Mihai Capra on Sunday.

The total number of people who died from hypothermia is 68, according to the data supplied by Secretary of State with the Ministry of Administration and the Interior Mihai Capra on Sunday.

He made it clear that currently 81 county roads were blocked and 36 places were isolated. The most numerous, namely 30, are in Vrancea County (eastern Romania).

Mihai Capra also said that 16 places had no power supply, 14 of them being in Buzau County (eastern Romania).

The representative of the Ministry of Administration and the Interior emphasized the fact that 201 people were taken medical care of on Saturday and that another three people died, two in Arges County (southern Romania) and one in Teleorman County (southern Romania).

Thus he said that the total number of people who died from hypothermia was 68 a present.
