DEA opens office in Sofia

This is a sign of strategic partnership and cooperation between Bulgaria and the United States of America, Bulgarian Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov said at the inauguration of the new office.

The US Drug Enforcement Agency has officially launched its Sofia operations.

This is a sign of strategic partnership and cooperation between Bulgaria and the United States of America, Bulgarian Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov said at the inauguration of the new office.

He recalled the success record of cooperation between Directorate General Combating Organized Crime and DEA.

As DEA opens its Sofia-based office, Bulgaria becomes an even more secure EU outer border, Minister Tsvetanov said.
