Serbian Dinar rises slightly against the Euro

After nine weeks of continual weakening against the Euro, the Serbian Dinar strengthened 0.14 percent against the Euro on Tuesday.

The middle exchange rate of the National Bank of Serbia reached RSD 99.51 against one Euro.
On Monday, the National Bank of Serbia sold EUR 15 million on the Foreign Exchange Interbank Market in order to secure the normal functioning of the foreign exchange market. Since the beginning of 2010, the National Bank sold EUR 456.6 million in total.
The Dinar was at its weakest on March 1, when it traded hands at RSD 99.65 against the Euro.
