For the 14th consecutive year, Greece has hosted the world reknowned ORTHODOXIA EXPO in the famous Zappion Exhibition Centre in the national capital, Athens.
Amongst the 96 manufacturers and providers of arts, crafts and services to Orthodox churches, our own workshop for clerical vestments and ecclesiastical embroidery, RIZA presented an impressive display.
The is the second time that RIZA has participated in this internationally recognised trade show. Iconographers, stone masons, bell foundries, winemakers, arhchitects, and tailors through to publishers and wood carvers presented an array of services and products for the needs of parishes, monasteries and church based associations world wide.
RIZA presented a unique collection of beautifully hand embroidered vestments which were praised by the many visitors and purchasers, as unique and of the highest quality.
His Grace Bishop Irinej, was present at the opening of the exhibition on Sunday the 16th of May and attended the RIZA stand every day during the four day exhibition, where he met and spoke with various members of the Orthodox clergy from all over the world.
Many commended the work of our Dicoese and they were delighted to hear from his Grace, that the proceeds generated from RIZA sales are used to assist the construciton of St.Sava College.
