Members of the Serbia-NATO Defense Reform Group (DRG) continued their work after a two-year break, it was published on the Serbian Ministry of Defense website.

At the meeting of DRG members in the Topcider Guard House in Belgrade, which represented the continuation of this form of cooperation between Serbia and NATO, the group adopted a working plan for the period from June 2010 to June 2011.

The main objectives of the renewed DRG are support for the institutional cooperation between Serbia and NATO in the defense reform process, achievement of the Partnership for Peace aims in the Planning and Review Process, as well as improving coordination and efficiency in Serbia's bilateral military cooperation with NATO and the EU.

The group's work in the period 2005-2008 was assessed as very successful, and the experience so far indicates that it greatly facilitates interdepartmental cooperation relevant for the reform of the defense system and involvement in the Partnership for Peace.

The meeting was also attended by defense delegates and representatives of embassies of NATO and the EU member countries.
