Five international companies have submitted prequalification documents for the privatization of the majority shares of Post and Telecom of Kosovo.
Five international companies have submitted prequalification documents for the privatization of the majority shares of Post and Telecom of Kosovo.
Ministry of Economy and Finance announced that Albtelecom from Albania, with majority of shares owned by Turkish companies Calik Group and Turk Telekom, is one of the competing companies.
Hrvatski Telekom d.d. (HT), Croatia, with majority of shares owned by Deutsche Telekom, is another competitor.
In the tender for the purchase of shares of PTK is also Orascom Telecom Holding SAE from Egypt, Telekom Austria AG from Austria and Sabafon from Yemen.
The purpose of the pre-qualification is to choose the investors who have the legal, financial and technical capacity required for participation in the tender and bidding procedures.
