Upon the invitation of the European Commission Directorate General for Culture and Education, members of the Belgrade delegation presented in Brussels candidacy for the European Capital of Culture 2020, the City Hall communicated.

Representative of the Directorate General Jacqueline Pacaud assessed that no city that submitted the candidature had such vast and detailed documentation at this stage of the project.
