U.S. Embassy to donate USD 30,000 to Kraljevo

This donation is just a part of a larger project of support to the Emergency Situation Sector, which is involved
in the natural disaster recovery in Kraljevo.

The U.S. Embassy in Belgrade and the U.S. European Command, in cooperation with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will donate to the quake-hit municipality of Kraljevo, central Serbia, and the Serbian government's Emergency Situation Sector USD 30,000 worth equipment for recovery of damaged houses.

Each package comprises the necessary equipments and tools which will be very useful for the project of recovery of the damaged premises. Overall, the donation will ease the hardship of about 500 families who suffered the earthquake, reads the statement by the U.S. Embassy obtained by Tanjug.

This donation is just a part of a larger project of support to the Emergency Situation Sector, which is involved
in the natural disaster recovery in Kraljevo.

The U.S. Embassy in Belgrade plans to continue its support and help the inhabitants of Kraljevo and recently
flooded areas in Western Serbia, the statement reads.
