Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic called Thursday on all citizens who want to pass a remark regarding the draft strategy dubbed 'Serbia 2020' to contribute to the public debate on the document, which he qualified as real and feasible.

“All critics are welcome to suggest a better alternative. It is easy to criticize an ambitious goal, but we should bear in mind the price of the lack of ambition and the wish to succeed- that is apathy, miserable existence and brain drain,” Djelic told Tanjug prior to Friday press conference at which Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic is to present the strategy 'Serbia 2020'.

Djelic estimated that too many citizens are quick to denigrate the government's efforts without offering constructive proposals, and called on all those who want to contribute to the country's development in the next ten years to take part in the debate.

“The strategy 'Serbia 2020' is not a wish list, but a cluster of goals in conformity with Serbia's European aspirations,” he underlined adding that Serbia must reach the goals in order to become a stable country.
