Patriarch Irinej of Serbia wished the Serbian citizens peace, unity and love and less cares in the New Year.

“I wish what we all need, which is peace, harmony and unity of our homeland, with a hope that it will reach a safe port,” Patriarch Irinej said in his New Year message to the Serbian people.

The Serbian Patriarch wished everyone to be in a position to work freely and worry less about their existence.

“People need to bring some beauty and charm in their lives together with all the blessings of God because we need it at this time,” the Radio and Television of Serbia (RTS) quoted the Patriarch as saying.
