The Republic of Serbia Geodetic Authority switched to a new coordinate system at the start of the year, according to the law on state survey and cadastre.

The Republic of Serbia Geodetic Authority switched to a new coordinate system at the start of the year, according to the law on state survey and cadastre.

The new system is in line with the Euroepan Terrestrial Reference System 1989, also known as ETRS89.

The system will be implemented within the ETRF2000 framework, which is suggested by international organizations.
