EU to provide EUR 27 mln for infrastructure in Kosovo-Metohija

The European Commission Liaison Office to Kosovo announced that the EU would provide EUR 27 million for infrastructure projects in Kosovo.These projects are a continuation of EU investments meant to bring Kosovo closer to the EU stardards when it comes to infrastructure and services for the population.
The European Commission Liaison Office to Kosovo announced that the EU would provide EUR 27 million for infrastructure projects in Kosovo.The money will go towards improving the water and power supply throughout Kosovo.
Newly established municipalities Gracanica, Klokot and Ranilug, together with Vitina and Kamenica, will get new buildings to house the local government, while a number of other municipalities will get new schools with sports facilities.
Zubin Potok is going to get a new hospital. A bridge will be built in Klina to provide better access to minority communities in that area, while the projects in Obilic will focus on road rehabilitation.
Srbica and Leposavic will receive better water supply and sewage systems.One of the projects aims to double the water supply for some 250,000 people in Kosovska Mitrovica.
These projects are a continuation of EU investments meant to bring Kosovo closer to the EU stardards when it comes to infrastructure and services for the population, the office stated.
