Opposers of 47th conference protest in Munich

Listening to the loud music and carrying flags, several hundred opposers are protesting in front of the building where the 47th International Security Conference is taking place, with about 350 heads of states and governments, ministers and experts from 70 countries.

Listening to the loud music and carrying flags, several hundred opposers are protesting in front of the building where the 47th International Security Conference is taking place, with about 350 heads of states and governments, ministers and experts from 70 countries.

Protests are directed against NATO and globalization, against international engagement in Afghanistan and war advocacy and so far they have been peaceful.

Serbian foreign minister Vuk Jeremic is also taking part at the conference.

The participants in the forum are focusing on international security in the aftermath of the financial crisis, nuclear non-proliferation, Afghanistan, Tunisia and Egypt.
