President of the Vojvodina Government Bojan Pajtic, who on Thursday attended the National Prayer Breakfast traditionally hosted by the U.S. president, announced that two U.S. political delegations will soon visit Serbia's province of Vojvodina, which could be a positive signal for investors from the U.S. as well.

President of the Vojvodina Government Bojan Pajtic, who on Thursday attended the National Prayer Breakfast traditionally hosted by the U.S. president, announced that two U.S. political delegations will soon visit Serbia's province of Vojvodina, which could be a positive signal for investors from the U.S. as well.

"The fact is that we have so far focused on the EU, but we must never forget the huge potential that the partnership with the U.S. business and political institutions offers," Pajtic said in an interview for the Novi Sad-based daily Dnevnik.

"I expect that the delegations of the U.S. Senate and Congress will visit Vojvodina in the months to come, which would be a positive signal for the American investors," he added.

According to him, it is possible that Vojvodina will previously host a group of American businessmen who are interested in investing in the construction and metal industries, and the IT sector.

During his stay in Washington for the National Prayer Breakfast hosted by U.S. President Barack Obama, Pajtic conferred with high U.S. officials.
