Government signs agreement with trade unions

The Serbian government signed a social-economic agreement with two representative trade unions and Union of Employers of Serbia, which envisages an increase of the minimum hourly wage by seven dinars to a total of RSD 102, as well as the connecting of years of service, to be financed out of the budget funds.

The document was signed by Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic, President of the Federation of Autonomous Unions of Serbia (SSSS) Ljubisav Orbovic, President of the Branch Union Confederation 'Independence' (UGS Nezavisnost) Branislav Canak and President of the Union of Employers of Serbia Nebojsa Atanackovic, expressing their satisfaction over successfully completed negotiations which lasted several months.
"We want to secure macroeconomic stability and development in the post-crisis period," Cvetkovic stated after the signing of the agreement at the Serbian government.
The signing was attended by Serbian Minister of Labor and Social Policy Rasim Ljajic.
