Hunderds of drivers took part in the fourth national protest rally against the high fuel prices in Bulgaria. Protesters downtown Sofia drove very slowly causing traffic jams.
Hunderds of drivers took part in the fourth national protest rally against the high fuel prices in Bulgaria. Protesters downtown Sofia drove very slowly causing traffic jams.
People called for complete transparency of the fuel price formation, and for cometition on the fuel market. According to protesters, prices of gas and diesel could drop to 1 euro per liter through liberalisation of imports.
The protest was most numerous in the capital city of Sofia. Meanwhile, the Lukoil Neftochim refinery in the Bulgarian port of Burgas announced it was increasing fuel prices again.
