Meeting of the Governors of the Central Bank of BiH, Montenegro and Serbia

The meeting of delegations of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH), Central Bank of Montenegro (CBM) and the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) was held in Sarajevo yesterday.
Governor of the CBBH Kemal Kozarić, Governor of the CBM Radoje Žugić, and Governor of the NBS Dejan Šoškić, led the delegations at this meeting. During this meeting previous cooperation was analyzed, as well as its continuation according to the protocols of cooperation signed by central banks.
At the meeting, a review of the implementation of conclusions from previous meetings was conducted, and after that the macroeconomic trends and indicators were presented by the governors, individualy for each country.
Also, it was concluded that a single szstem of reporting would be defined, which needs to be prepared for these meetings, i.e. the set of indicators would be defined, which will allowe the comparison of the macroeconomic situation in countries.
The topic of the meeting, the presentation by the Head of Financial Stability Department in the CBBH, named "The Analysis of Financial Stability in the CBBH", was rated as extremely helpful and interesting.
The need not only for the continuation, but for deepening of the cooperation was highlighted as a final conclusion, with further defining of the areas of cooperation at the level of the governors of central/national banks. The regular dates of future meetings are broadly defined, and it has been concluded that the invitation should be sendtto the central/national banks of Croatia, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Albania, to join this group.
The future meetings will be held twice a year, in spring and autumn.
The next meeting will be held in autumn in Montenegro.
