Almost EUR 4 million of assets belonging to former Croatian prime minister Ivo Sanader, who has been in custody in Austria since December, have been frozen, according to the Croatian media.

The exact amount, according to the Jutarnji List daily from Zagreb, is HRK 29 million, which equals EUR 3.94 million.
The Croatian Office for the Prevention of Corruption and Organized Crime is still investigating and searching for Sanader's remaining property, including bank accounts, Jutarnji List reports.
Croatia froze HRK 19 million in Sanader's assets immediately after he had been taken into custody in Salzburg, says the report, adding that official data state that another HRK 10 million were found afterwards.
