The fact that murdering of witnesses in Kosovo did not move anyone in Europe and that everybody kept silent is a real scandal rather than my report on human organ trafficking, Council of Europe (CoE) Special Rapporteur Dick Marty stated, stressing that several dozens of witnesses have been murdered in Kosovo.

In the last few years, several dozens of witness of crimes in Kosovo have been murdered. However, killing witnesses has not upset anyone in Europe. Everybody kept quiet. That is the real scandal, not my report in which I only wrote what many people have known for a long time, Marty said in an interview for the Ljubljana-based daily Delo.

Marty underlined that all names mentioned in his report, including Hasim Taci, have often appeared in police reports, diplomatic cables, criminal studies and foreign intelligence agencies' reports, including U.S. FBI, Britain's MI6, Italy's SISMI, Germany's DND and Greece's EYP.

The West knew very well what was happening in Kosovo all along, but no one took any action, the CoE rapporteur stressed.

Marty's report, which was recently adopted by the CoE Parliamentary Assembly, charges Taci and the Kosovo Liberation Army

(KLA) with involvement in human organ trafficking in Kosovo.
