Two men and a 55-year old woman, who was working at a farmers market nearby, were injured on Saturday after a gang of thirty hooded youths attacked the Exarchia police precinct. The hoodlums threw firebombs at the precinct's entrance and fled.

The woman, a flower peddler, was taken with severe burns to the hospital, where she remains in serious but stable condition while one of the men, a 48-year old passer by, was transfered to the Plastic Surgery Clinic.

Two cars and a motorcycle which were parked outside the station were torched.

The Exarchia district has long been a hub of self-styled anarchist and antiauthoritarian activists.

In a separate incident early Saturday morning, unknown individuals threw firebombs at ruling Pasok's offices and against riot police stationed nearby.

No injuries were reported.
