In an interview for radio Free Europe, Faith called on Kosovo's authorities to be more constructive and open in almost certain investigation into human organ trafficking based on the allegations presented in the report by Council of Europe (CoE) Special Rapporteur Dick Marty.
EU Special Representative in Kosovo Peter Faith has stated that Pristina has been given very important recommendations that political leaders, which are suspected of human organ trafficking or are under investigation, should not be appointed representatives of institutions given that Kosovo's reputation has been shaken in the last few months.
In an interview for radio Free Europe, Faith called on Kosovo's authorities to be more constructive and open in almost certain investigation into human organ trafficking based on the allegations presented in the report by Council of Europe (CoE) Special Rapporteur Dick Marty.
As for Marty's report, I believe that the best Pristina can do is to be open and constructive as much as possible. The investigation is most likely to be initiated, but it also depends on the evidence that Marty is still to deliver, Faith said.
