The paper quotes reports from German paper Frankfurt News which said that Turkish army is expected to take over the US KFOR base Bondsteel in Kosovo thus making a comeback in the Balkans.

Former commander of Serb army forces Ninoslav Krstic said such a scenario will not please Serbia.

“The entry of new residents from the East would be a bad thing for Serbia and even worse for Kosovo. Ankara through this gains direct territorial connection with Sandzak through Kosovo,” said Krstic.
