Businessmen from Zubin Potok (northern Kosovo) will continue Monday for the 12th consecutive day to block the section of the major road between Kosovska Mitrovica and Ribarici near the village of Zupce in northern Kosovo.
Head of the association of businessmen from Zubin Potok Ratomir Bozovic announced that the entrepreneurs will reach a decision on radicalization of the protest, which is directly aimed against the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX).
“The EULEX has not delivered any opinion regarding our demands. On Monday, we will probably start with one-hour total blockades of the major road. One side road will also be blocked. A decision on future moves will be made in conformity with the EULEX response,” Bozovic told Tanjug.
The businessmen from Zubin Potok are protesting due to the arrest of their colleague Jevrem Pantelic, suspected of involvement in organized crime, who was arrested almost two weeks ago on the part of the road between Zubin Potok and northern Kosovska Mitrovica.
