Deputy Prime Minister for European integration Bozidar Djelic and a representative of the European Commission Jose Fernandez Camacho will open two-day consultations on the draft form of the operative programme for HR development (2012–2013) on 31 May, at 10.00, at the M Best Western Hotel, Bulevar Oslobodjenja 56a.

The meeting is organised by the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development in cooperation with the Serbian government’s EU Integration Office and the European Commission.

Consultations are held with representatives of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Employment, the German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and representatives of the European Foundation for the Training, with the support of EU’s TAIEX programme.

The aim of consultations is to offer support to Serbian institutions in the programming process for the fourth component of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA), or in the process of the Operational Programme for Human Resources Development (2012-2013).

The Operational Programme for Human Resources Development (2012-2013) is a document on the basis of which the EU’s assistance to Serbia from the fourth IPA component will be planned, to which Serbia is entitled once it gets the EU candidate status and accreditation for the decentralised management of the EU funds.
