Industrial production increases by 3.6 percent in seven months

The industrial production in Serbia in the first seven months of 2011 will mark a 3.6 percent growth compared to the same period in 2010, the experts of the Macroeconomic Analysis and Trends magazine assessed Monday.

Based on MAT's prognosis, the consumer prices in the first seven months of 2011 are expected to increase by eight percent compared to December 2010.
Compared to the same period last year, export will increase by 25 percent in the first seven months of 2011, and import by about 18.5 percent.
The relative stability of the exchange rate is more probable than the appreciation or depreciation of the dinar, MAT released.
