Bulgaria and Kosovo will improve the transport connections between each other. This is provided in the cooperation protocol, signed by the two Foreign Ministers Nikolay Mladenov and Enver Hoxhaj and in the intergovernmental agreement for international forwarding.

The agreement will legitimize the applications for issuing of licenses and will help for the opening of a regular bus line between Bulgaria and Kosovo. Mr. Mladenov commented that this would ease the access of Bulgarian goods to Kosovo and vice versa.

Bulgaria supports the independence of Kosovo and the principle for the need of regional cooperation on the Balkans and a dialogue with all neighbors, Minister Mladenov further added. He underlined that the support for the European integration of the West Balkans was essential for this country.
