All dailies report on the front pages that according to the preliminary results of the census process, the population of the Republic of Kosovo numbers 1,733,872 residents.

Koha Ditore notes that in 1981, Kosovo had 1,584,440 residents whereas 30 years later according to the Kosovo Statistics Institute it has only 150,000 residents more.

All dailies note that the latest census does not include residents from the northern part of Kosovo, “because Kosovo institutions have failed to conduct census in that region”.
