According to the police release, five people were arrested and their vehicle seized due to deliberately provoking and stoning police officers after the memorial service in Gazimestan, the monument commemorating the Serbs killed in the historical Battle of Kosovo in 1389. Afer the hearing, they got a two-day detention, which expired on Thursday.
Following a hearing before the court in Pristina, the detention period was extended to one month.
Four Serbs were transferred to a detention facility in Gnjilane (eastern Kosovo), and one remained in custody in Pristina.
