The Serbian government adopted today the Bill on amendments to the Law on the bases of the education system with which the level of discipline will be increased and the uniformity in the information system in education improved.

The Bill amending the Law on contributions for mandatory social insurance was adopted.

The government passed the Bill on the ratification of an agreement between the Serbian government and the Council of Ministers of Albania on readmission of persons who reside illegally, with the protocol on the implementation of the agreement.

The agreement includes a protocol, agreed upon last October, the goal of which is to cut the number of illegal migrations between Serbia and Albania and enable reciprocal work on organised and institutionalised repatriation of migrants.

The government adopted a Strategy and policy of development for the period 2011–2020, as well as several decrees enabling the encouragement of production and employment in devastated areas and underdeveloped municipalities.

At today’s session the government also passed a Decree on the use of incentives for the support to organic production in 2011.
