Former U.S. official Robert Sorenson was appointed as the new UNMIK chief, after Lamberto Zannier's office expired, UNMIK stated in a release.
Former U.S. official Robert Sorenson was appointed as the new UNMIK chief, after Lamberto Zannier's office expired, UNMIK stated in a release.
According to the release, Sorenson is a former U.S. diplomat with considerable experience in the Balkan region. In 2003 and 2004, he served as deputy principal officer at the U.S. Mission's office in Pristina.
He has been an employee of UNMIK ever since 2009.
