Spain looks to invest in renewable energy sources

Serbian Assistant Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Milutin Prodanovic called on Spanish investors to place their funds n Serbia's electric power industry and figure as EPS partners in the realisation of projects in the domain of renewable energy sources.

The government and Energy Agency of Catalonia and several Spanish companies decided on Wednesday to constitute a group for presentation on Serbia's market of renewable energy sources, officials agreed in Barcelona on Wednesday during the conference on the potentials for investing in Serbia's energy sector.

According to Executive Director of the Electric Power Industry of Serbia (EPS) Bratislav Ceperkovic, Spanish investors headed by the government and the Energy Agency of Catalonia, which are very active in the regon, are prepared to invest several billon euros in Serbia and activate cooperation by signing a memorandum on cooperation with the Serbian EPS.
